BC gems tend to be vendored (rare ones) the uncommon quality are listed in stacks of 1. Northrend rares I cut and sell. Uncommon's are used for DE craftables and if I auction the rest, I list them in stacks of 5, 10, or 20 depending on how many I have. I rarely list uncut gems though. I don't know if they're too lazy or just don't care - but I buy my eternal fire for 25-30g per and sell Crystallized Fire for 4g per (8g for a stack of 2) and they always sell...
