A common question I receive from emails is “What Glyphs do you craft for profit?”
To get a good list on what glyphs are used the most, check out WoW Popular. They give a nice list of the most popular glyphs being used across all servers. Since glyph making can be time consuming, I use the following steps to cut down on the time spent listing these auctions.
1. I make a list of the glyphs I make continuously. I make all of their top glyphs. Some times a few of these wont make as much profit as others, but generally I make profit on each glyph on the top list.
2. Make a larger quantity of them. I stock 20 of each glyph every weekend. Some weeks I sell out of all 20 some weeks I only sell 2. I use this number because it makes nice even stacks, but you can use 10 or 5 at a time.
3. I bulk craft mine on weekends and do not make 1-2 during the week. I prefer to knock a bunch out at once on the weekend instead of a couple at a time through out the week, but this is mainly dependent on your preference.
4. List glyphs 1 copper below the rest. Buyers will buy the cheapest , even if its 1 copper lower or 10g lower. There is no reason to lower the price more than 1 copper below the next person.
5. Make sure you are using Auctioneer and a mail mod. Opening these ended auctions and listing these auctions take a lot of time without these vital add ons.
With these basic steps I make about 1,000 to 2,000 gold every 2 days.
