I am going to be updating the leveling guides soon, especially to reflect cata data when it becomes available.

I am Jesseka from Smolderthorn. I currently have reached the gold cap and have made over 750,000 gold in the last 4 years of playing.

I have power leveled many professions, which have included: Inscription 5 times, Enchanting 3 times, Blacksmithing 4 times, Engineering 3 times, Tailoring 2 times, Alchemy 2 times, Jewelcrafting 4 times, Leather working 2 times. I have also purchased every gold sink in the game for 5 level 80 mains + geared up over 15 alts with craftables and epic gems. I also have grinded out the Insane title twice and working on my third time.

I recently took an extended break from updating this blog to concentrate on another side project website and finally have the time to work on blog posts once again.

I will be in the process of updating leveling guides, if you have any suggestions or are interested in helping rewrite one, please let me know at.

If your main is in a “real” guild, your welcome to as a lvl 1 alt.

I am currently waiting for my character to copy over to the Horde PvE server.  I will look into other servers and alliance side if there is enough interest.

Once I know the characters name/guild name I will post it here so you can look out for it, if you want an invite.

If your main is going to join a guild that will be raiding, feel free to put in an alt so you can take out glyphs etc. you need for your main.

This site will offer all the information I have gained over my WoW experience to amass the amount of gold I have. These Tips and instructions will help you make gold with whatever combination of professions you have, and time you want to spend. I also will provide guides on how to level a profession with total net loss/gain in mind.

There are guides from every step of the way from how to do it, how to list it and how to use add-ons to help make the process as easy as possible. Taking the time to read just a few guides can help you save time and make you more gold with the time you do spend.

We cant make the gold for you, there is some work involved. This is why I am giving as many options to make gold with as many ideas as possible. Find the one that works best with your time, professions, and play style preference.

Okay I am ready to get started.

One Thing you want to do before you start you AH adventures is to make a low level alt (have fun with the name) and place him/her in a major city. This way you can mail the character items without using your hearth etc making to and from the ah. Another reason why I do this, is so I am not bothered on my main with questions like “how do you get so many items to sell” or in the middle of the raid asked “can you lower x item to cheaper to help me out”.

Next read as much as possible. A lot of professions interrelate and you may be able to make something with one profession that will help another.

There are ways to make gold with any type of profession or time commitment, the trick is just finding them. Most guides tell you how to make gold, not the process on discovering ways to make gold.
